This month marks 25 years in business for CCTI!
For 25 years, Custom Composite Technologies Inc. (CCTI) has been family-owned and operated. We’ve worked to build a reputation for delivering custom, high-performance composite parts and tooling for some of the world’s most demanding marine projects.
Founded in 2000 by Steve and Maureen Hassett, the company set out not to compete with boatbuilders but to support them — a philosophy that has fueled their growth. Over the years, CCTI has produced everything from precision hull components for luxury yachts to custom carbon fiber parts for robotics and architectural sculptures.
We operate on the philosophy of “have a customer-first mindset, as one of our founders, Steve often speaks about:

Today, the company’s projects span industries, but their Maine roots remain strong. As they celebrate this milestone, we’re proud not only of the projects completed but also of the family legacy — a business that has supported employees, clients, and the broader Maine manufacturing community.
