Mast Molds and Mandrels

Project Description: 124’ fiberglass mast mandrel for large performance sailboat. 115’ carbon fiber mast Mold for America‘s Cup sailboat. 80’ fiberglass, two — piece mandrel for a trans pac 52’ racing sailboat.

 

Construction: Solid skin, carbon fiber/fiberglass, VARTM construction. Service temperature of 250º.

 

Execution: 124’ Mandrel: 5 Mold sections were set up using our Total Station: Nikon NPL522 securing proper alignment of all molds.
