Custom Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Adapters

Project Description: Limited production run (198 pieces) of a custom-sized adapter needed to join two different sized pultruded fiberglass cable troughs. The picture identifies the size variation on each side of the adapter. Construction was fiberglass/epoxy resin, vacuum-infused per component.

 

Achievement: After conducting an extensive search, the client was unable to find an adapter to join two cable troughs of varying sizes. CCTI creatively solved the problem by designing an adapter built to the client’s specifications and delivering it in time to meet their schedule.Client chose CCTI because custom parts built to specification and met the time schedule.
