Acadia 21’ Mini Transat Sailboat

Project Description: 21’ hull and deck and structural interior

 

Construction: Vacuum-infused carbon fiber with foam core. Male mold for hull and a direct female mold for deck.

 

Achievement: Ultimate strength to weight ratio was the end goal. Bare bones boat weighed 450 pounds.
