Acadia 21' Mini Transat Sailboat

Project Description: 21' hull and deck and structural interior.

Construction: Vaccum-infused carbon fiber with foam core. Male mold for hull and a direct female mold for deck.

Achievement: Ultimate strength to weight ratio was the end goal. Bares bones boat weighed 450 pounds.

Client: Team Mini Challenege, Clay Burkhalter, Stonington, Connecticut.
