Reflective Sunlight Panels for Elementary School
Winton Scott Architects, Portland, Maine Westbrook School Department, Westbrook, Maine

Winton Scott Architects of Portland, Maine designed a revolutionary Reflective Sunlight Panel to be installed on the outside of the Congin Elementary School classroom windows. The purpose was to reflect sunlight to the top of the classroom giving the students as much natural sunlight as possible, especially in the winter. WSA knew the desired outcome of their product and chose the team at Custom Composite Technologies, Inc. to assist in the laminate design and schedule, optimum paint finish and color, and to install the panels on site. The project was a success and the panels remain an eye-catcher at the school today.
