CCT, Inc. is very busy supporting and participating in the future workforce of Maine. Over the past year the company has been active in helping out vocational instructor John MacDonald with his high school composites curriculum at the Foster Technical School. They have donated supplies, advice, knowledge, and has had two of the school's students at their Bath facility for a week on an independent study.

Most recently CCT, Inc. collaborated with the Landing School in Arundel and hosted several students to participate in the R&D work the company is doing for a wind blade prototype project. According to Steve, " renewable energy will be an integral part of the world energy mix throughout the 21st century. This technology will provide the ability to produce energy more reliably and efficiently, more cost effectively and with greater environmental awareness than ever before."

Steve will be representing the Maine Composite Association (MCA) at the 5th Annual Energy Ocean conference in Galveston this month with Elaine Scott, Marketing/ Communications Director, DECD. The conference is now established as the world's leading event focused on sustainable energy from the oceans.
