About Custom Composite Technologies

Steve Hassett has been working with composites since 1982, when he got his start in the custom yacht business, building world-class racing boats.

In 1999, Steve and Maureen Hassett founded Custom Composite Technologies, Inc. Steve brings his extensive experience to a myriad of advanced composite applications, drawing from a growing arsenal of methods and materials. CCTI works with a vetted team of sub-contractors who give us a broad range of capabilities. One of the most trusted names in what is still a young industry, CCTI provides custom solutions to a diverse range of clients.

CCTI has a reciprocal relationship with the University of Maine's Advanced Engineered Wood Composite Center (AEWC) and access to their state-of-the-art testing facility. We support composite training opportunities at vocational schools throughout Maine. Steve is directly involved with the pilot program at Foster Regional Vocational Tech, in Farmington.
